The 20th Annual Gival Press Oscar Wilde Award-2021

Prize:

The winner will receive $500.00 (USD), and the poem, along with information about the poet, will be published on the websites of Gival Press (givalpress.com).

June 27, 2021 (postmarked) or entered via portal at: https://givalpress.submittable.com/

Submit up to 3 poems of any style/length, along with a reading fee of $20.00. Poems are read anonymously by the judge.

Finally, the USA government in a Joint Resolution (USA House of Representatives and the Senate) delivered the document for President Biden to sign, making Juneteeth, June 19th a National / Federal Holiday, in commemoration of the freeing of African slaves in 1865 by President Lincoln brought to America (British Colony, then the USA) against their will.

We applaud those members of Congress of both parties who voted for this Resolution.
