Where a Poet Ought Not / Ou c'qui faut pas
2013 Paris Book Festival—Honorable Mention for Poetry
An English/French collection of poems inspired by French poets Léo Ferré and François Villon and the Québec poet Raymond Lévesque in what Slone characterizes as a need to speak up. In other words, a poet should speak the truth as he sees it and fight his damnedest to overcome all the forces encouraging not to.
G. Tod Slone is the founding editor of "The American Dissident," a nonprofit literary journal offering a forum for vigorous debate, cornerstone of democracy.
