Adamah is a spiritual but abstract journey within the self. The book takes its title from the Hebrew word adamah for earth in order to answer the zen koan: "Who then is wearing that body devoid of life for you?" as the author takes us on a journey through grief, memory and the resolution to march forward.

Celine Zins is a widely published poet/writer in France and is a translator for writers such as Philip Roth, Joyce Carol Oates, Ernest Hemingway, and others.

Céline Zins is the author of three volumes of poetry published by Gallimard. In addition to being a poet she is also known for being a renowned translator in France of works by Carols Fuentes, Philip Roth, Joyce Carol Oates, Oscar Lewis, Ernest Hemingway,William Faulkner, J.M. Synge and Julio Cortazar.
